Cenakulo sa Divine

Finally, na-post ko na rin ito. Last week pa due ito eh, kasi naman, inatake na naman ako ng katamaran. Anyway, eto ang kwento. Last week Thursday, Maundy Thursday to be exact, nanoood kami ng Senakulo sa Divine Mercy Shrine, every year, merong Senakulo talaga dito. Pero that was my first time na makanood dito sa Divine. With all my pamangkins, nagpunta kami ng 8pm. Late na nga kami nakarating, kaya pagdating namin, after 30mins, tapos na.

Medyo, na-disappoint ako sa napanood ko, kasi, di sya kasing ganda ng ini-expect ko. Kasi, na-compare ko sya sa Senakulo sa amin sa Mandaluyong (Hagdang Bato Ibaba), na for 3 consecutive nights, ikukuwento talga ang buong life ni Jesus. Tapos, magaganda ang costumes, at kinakanta ang dialogues, at kapag enter at exit ng stage, merong live band na tutugtog. Unlike dito sa Divine na taped ang dialogues, hindi masyadong impressive ang mga costumes, at puro production numbers, me mga sayawan, at kantahan, ganun. Tapos, ang bilis natapos.

At eto pa, pag-uwi namin mga 930pm na un, grabe, super traffick. Ang Divine Mercy ay 1.5kilometers lang kalayo sa house namin. Would you imagine, inabot kami ng 1230am sa daan, dahil hindi umaandar ang mga sasakyan? You know why? Aside sa dahilang ang Divine Mercy ay talagang dinadayo mula sa iba't ibang panig ng Pilipinas lalo tuwing Lenten Season, napakarami rin ng naglalakad, ung mga nagbibisita Iglesia yata yun, kasi from Divine Marilao, ung San Jose Del Monte ang susunod na town, andun naman ung Lourdes Grotto which is magkasunod na malalaking churches. Kaya ung mga tao, na super dami, grupo-grupo, naglalakad sila. Ung mga pasahero ko nga nakatulog na sa tagal, pati si Jett. Asawa ko nga tawag at text na, kasi baka daw kung ano na nangyari sa amin. Ako nga, muntik na ring makatulog sa harap ng manibela.

Kaya pag-uwi namin, ayun, plakda lahat ng mga bata. Kawawa naman. Siguro next year, di na kami uulit :( ....

Easter Party '06

I decided to celebrate Easter somewhere enjoyable and memorable for Jett, my nephew and nieces. And, I surely did not miss, the kids had undeniably so much fun. The party started at 12noon until 3pm. But the kiddos ignored the games, and plunged themselves, in the irresistable, inviting, huge swimming pool. Jett undress as well, in no time. He was playing, walking, and dancing with joy inside the kiddie pool. I'm so happy to see him enjoying. Sigh, how I wish Honey was celebrating with us too! We miss you Honey!!!

Princess Lulu

Sigh, tapos na ang Princess Lulu nung Wednesday. Nakakalungkot talaga (singhot!) , less than two months lang ata nagtagal ang story, kaya feeling ko, bitin ako, hay! First time kong na-hooked sa Koreanovela, kaya affected talaga ako sa pagtatapos nito. Maganda kasi ang sked nya, before binalik ang Panday 9pm, tapos naging 10pm. Sa ganitong mga oras kasi, either awake pa si Jett or sleep na, kaya nasubaybayan ko sya.

Why I was trapped with this program? Well, comedy-drama kasi ang approach nya, mas type ko to kaysa sa hard-drama, and since I love to laugh, it really got into me. Di ko alam kung anong katapat nito sa channel 7, kasi, kahit commercial, ni hindi ko mailipat. Minsan nga nagpapang-abot sila ng American Idol, kaya, pasili-silip lang muna ginagawa ko sa AI, hanggang matapos ang Princess Lulu (adik!). Eh sa AI, may website naman silang mapupuntahan ko kahit di ako makapanood, eh sa Koreanovela, wala, kapag na-miss mo, un na yun, manghuhula ka na lang ng nangyari, hahaha! Kahit ka-chat ko nga si Honey, "watching Lulu" status muna ko at stop sa pag-chat sa kanya hanggang matapos.

Siguro, I commend most the character of one of the protagonists, Marco, ung ka-loveteam ni Lulu. You know why? Kase, he always find ways to smile and take things easy against all the odds. Although, alam kong, the characters and the story go with the script, nakaka-inspire pa rin, and hoping, lahat tayo sana maging kagaya ng character ni Marco. Hindi nadadala ng problema, kundi sya ang nagdadala sa problema. Si Lulu naman, pretty and cutie. I love her sense of fashion, conservative pero elegant.

Ang nakakatuwa pa dito sa istorya, everybody who are wronged, had their own dose of medicines on their own. Hindi tragic ang ending, lahat natutuo sa mga pagkakamali through the twists and the turns. Wow, obvious talaga na fan ako noh?!

Basta, appeal ko lang sa Channel 2 ... hanap naman kayo ng Part 2 or kahit sequel man lang!!! Please????!!!!

My Longest Driving Experience

Every Friday, Janay is color-coded since she ends with number "9". Good thing, MMDA, suspended the color-coding scheme or the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (UVVRP) since Thursday last week, except in Makati (hmp! papansin talaga si Binay!). So, we visited Jett's pediatrician in St. Lukes on the exact date he was scheduled, which was last Friday. The major thoroughfares was okay, no traffic. It was just noticeable that many vehicles are travelling in NLEX, compared previously.

And then yesterday (Saturday), we attended two affairs. And definitely, our travel yesterday was the most memorable and taxing driving experience I ever had. Kuya Joaqui's 4th birthday party call time was 1pm. We left here in Marilao at 11:45am, and reached Glorrieta at 12:30pm, we were still early, so, we ate our lunch in Jollibee. Sayang, coz when the party was about to start, we needed to leave, and off to my brother's housewarming in Mia Alta, Antipolo. The thing was, it was our first time to go to his house, so we found it through a sketch. All the way to Antipolo from Makati via C-5 (wheh!) it took us an hour.

We left at 5:30pm from Antipolo. It took us 2.5hrs to finally be home back here in Marilao. Junction, Rosario, and EDSA (from Ortigas to Cubao) were jampacked (whoah!). It was the very first time, I seated that long behind the steering wheel, and I tell you guys, it was not a pleasing hap. My head was aching so hard. I didn't feel the pain yet, until I get-off the car, I immediately felt not good.

Furthermore, I didn't have the chance to take a rest already, coz I gave my son his dinner, and waited for few more hours to caught-up back his sleepyness (he slept in the car) before he drinks milk and at long last, fell asleep. That was my turn to retire for the day, but right after I washed, and cleaned my face, I no longer feel sleepy, though I still feel tired, and my headache annoys me. I felt lonely for one minute, and didn't have second thought, I called my hubby. I just wanna feel good and feel his presence and care, by hearing his voice. When he was here, and I am sick, especially on this instance, he takes care of everything, from feeding Jett, cleaning, and putting him to sleep. He massage my head with the all-around Vicks Vaporub and he lets me sleep/rest early. That's why I am missing him. But after we talked, I feel lighter, and turned-in for the night.

Today is Palm Sunday, I also fell to sleep, while putting Jett to his afternoon nap and wasn't able to hear the early afternoon mass when I usually attend. I know this is not an excuse (sorry!). Tomorrow is the start of the Holy Week, I don't wanna sound preachy, but let us perform our shares for this lenten season.

Taksil si "Thaksin"?

Hay, nakakalungkot naman ang nangyayari sa Thailand ngayon. I never entertained the idea, na mag-a-ala-Pinas ang asensadong bansa ng mga Thais. Hindi ko talaga alam kung nagtaksil nga ba talaga si Thaksin, basta ang alam ko, in more than two years na pag-stay namin sa Bangkok, naging masaya naman kami sa kalagayan ng Bangkok as expats.

I mean, napakaunlad ng bansa nila, tignan na lang natin sa mga trains ng Bangkok, BTS (or MRT/LRT dito) at SUBWAY, matagal na tayong napag-iwanan kung ikukumapara dito sa atin. Sabi nga nila, sa transit or railway system makikita ang kaunlaran ng isang bansa. Ang dami nilang infrastructures, sa 2 years namin dun, di sila nauubusan ng pagpapalawig ng mga kalsada nila, more specifically, sa mga tollways. Ung skyway nila, napakahaba, na dadaan mismo sa airport, kaya ang mga passengers, nakakarating ng maluwag at mabilis sa airport. At napakarami pang incomparable differences.

Kaya tuwang-tuwa kaming mag-asawa nun ke Thaksin. Everyday, nagbabasa ako ng newspaper nila, ung Bangkok Post, every morning un, habang si Jett ay binabantayan ng mga mababait na receptionists sa apartment namin, wala pang one year si Jett nun. At nasaksihan ko kung paano sya na-re-elect "landslide" at nanalo ang Thai Rak Thai Party. Very popular pa si Thaksin nun. Siguro, ang naging conflict, ung pagiging businessman nya at pagiging public servant. Isa kasi si Thaksin sa pinakamayang tao sa Thailand. In fact, ayon sa bali-balita, pagmamay-ari nya ang number one telecommunication company sa Thailand ang 1-2-Call or AIS, although he tried to conceal it before he took office by spreading the shares of stocks to his relatives up to his househelps, which made the buzz out of it. Pero, nanalo pa rin sya in the end.

Sana lang, matuto rin ang mga Thais sa nangyari. Sana "history wont repeat itself", at hindi na muling umabot sa pagpapatalsik ng mga uupo pang leaders. Dahil kung magkakaganun, huhusgahan na rin ng buong mundo ang Thailand, nang hindi nalalayo sa Pilipinas.

Finally, if I will be given a chance na makausap si Shinawatra, gustong-gusto ko talagang itanong sa kanya ... kung saan sya nag-pa-pa-derma??? Kasi, napaka flawless ng skin nya, even on close-ups! spotless talaga (wink!) Good night!

Perky and Skitty

A perky feeling, to finally found time changing my blogskin, for the second time of my blogging life. I thought of using a summer template, but it didn't work on my blog, but im hopeful to use it before sunny season ends. Just have to wait till the owner meet my queries and troubleshoot. However, thanks Aman for such a relaxing, huggable, and cuddly template I have now.

Can't help to be skitty and been counting the days. It is a 3-day sale in SM Marilao starting Friday. I've been holding my self back for the past days to shell-out my card and purchase the summer clothings Im dying to have. We have plan of a summer getaway when Hubby is home, but nothing is concrete yet. For the coming sale, they will give discounts mallwide so sayang naman ang discount, all I have to do ... is wait (hay! inip!). I also need to buy gifts for the events we'll be attending next week, so I'll be really saving money here.

SEGUE: Never did I imagine that Manila Post Office could be that enchanting, with the perfect lights and right adornments put in proper places. Just good enough for the PBB Celebrity big night won by Keanna Reeves. My personal favorite is John Prats, and voted for him up to the last minute of voting.

However, I like the first season better than the celeb season, I only started enjoying the ride, when the love angle between Zanjoe and Bianca begins to feel in the air (kilig!) When they were nominated to cast-off the house few times, I wholeheartedly voted for both of them to stay, just to prolong my interest on the program. I really like them, and they look good together (kilig uli!). I'm in love with love, so I'm hoping that theirs are not only for a show.

Swedish Massage

Yesterday, I went to Bioessence for my supposedly only facial cleaning. Then, I learned that their Swedish Massage is on promo with Mint Facial cleaning inclusion. Perfect time for me, coz like all mom's out there, my upper back is killing me.

It didn't take a while, I avail the promo. For P599 (original P1200), I really got the best value for my money, and enjoyed the next 3 hours of my life.

Well, I think it doesn't hurt our tight budget, to once in a while delight our body with such soothing activity. After all, our body ingest all the stress we battle everyday, therefore it deserves a treat.

Who knows, if these indulges are still an arm away for us, in the future. (Hmmmm ... )
